Justin Linthicum, CPA, CFP®
Tax Accountant
Associate Financial Planner
Role at The Consulate:
At The Consulate, I work with wealth advisors to assist with clients’ tax and financial planning matters. I look into conversion opportunities for clients and the ways the latest tax laws may impact a client’s financial situation. In addition to tax planning, I am also involved in estate planning, investment planning, and retirement planning.
Educational Background:
I graduated from Towson University in 2013 where I earned dual bachelors’ degrees in accounting and business administration with a concentration in finance. I am a CPA and a Certified Financial Planner™.
My Favorite Consulate Value:
The Consulate value that means the most to me is integrity because of how it aligns with my own personal values. I appreciate the fiduciary duty that is required of The Consulate because it means we always act in the client’s best interest. Identifying and working to eliminate conflicts of interest is also important to me because, again, it means the clients are at the center of what we do.
Outside the Office:
When I am not at work, you will most likely find me doing something that involves sports. Whether I am kicking the soccer ball around with my daughter, cheering on the Capitals, or watching my daughter compete in gymnastics and soccer, I am an avid sports fan and player.
