Role at The Consulate:
At The Consulate, I serve as a tax accountant and find myself to be very busy during tax season. When tax season ends, my tax-related work does not. During the off-season, I complete tax projections, and state extensions, so I am working on taxes year-round.
I earned my four-year degree from Shippensburg University, where I studied accounting.
Most Meaningful Part of My Job:
I have always been a tax accountant. My job was to obtain the appropriate numbers and enter them properly on tax returns. Since coming to The Consulate, my job has taken on new meaning. Under Drew’s guidance, our approach is to plan throughout the year to arrive at the best numbers to put on the tax return for the client’s benefit. I find the effort that goes into this to be very rewarding.
Outside the Office:
When I am not in the office, you can usually find me helping my brother and his family with their cleaning business or on the golf course.
